Gretchen Otteson, interior designer, and owner of Gretchen O Designs has over 35 years experience in residential, commercial, interior, and architectural design work in Dallas Texas, Durango Colorado, Scottsdale Arizona. Gretchen has a passion for listening to her clients, introducing new ideas, and ultimately creating unique and personalized spaces that become timeless elements of design.

Gretchen’s ability to collaborate alongside an architect affords her client the added assurance that all aspects of their design intent are maximized and achieved. Gretchen is sensitive to incorporate “green living” principles into her projects which both reflect her client’s needs and presents minimal impact on the environment.

Gretchen is based in Durango, Colorado, and has provided design services to clients around the country. Gretchen’s vast array of accounts and resources of furniture manufacturers, fabric houses, antique dealers and craftsmen enable her to perform work for clients living anywhere in the world.

Gretchen holds a degree in Interior Design through Architecture and is a licensed designer with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners.
